Water by The Spoonful is an incredibly powerful play regarding addiction and four people who bond and try to recover from their addictions in an AOL chat room. Making each character feel natural helped portray the theme that addiction affects everyday normal people.
Monstress
In conjunction with Tectonic Theater Company and their devising method, we devised a piece that took a critical look at ancient myths and really asked, are these women Monstresses? Directed by Jolie Tong, professor at Drew University. Unfortunately, this show was produced during the pandemic, but thankfully I was lucky enough to get a full copy of the video. Despite only having one picture from this production, I include it in my portfolio because I was called in halfway through the rehearsal process to replace the previous costume designer. This process was chaotic but I learned a lot of valuable lessons throughout the process and I am extremely proud of the final product I put onstage.
Blithe Spirit
Blithe Spirit holds a special place in my heart because it was the first show I costume designed for post-graduation at Drew. Working with these kids was a challenge for me because I usually used to costuming adults. I am so appreciative of my team Adam Danoff and Liz McDonald for taking a chance on me.
The Legend of Sleepy Hallow
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow was the second play I did with the Montgomery Theatre Company. Using some of the skills I picked up from working at Sesame Place to create the Headless Horseman
